The BISP Dynamic Survey is how new households register for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). This guide explains how to register at a Tehsil Office, what happens during the survey, and how to check your status. The most important point: registration is in-person only and completely free.
BISP runs the Dynamic Survey as a continuous system. Households can register or update their information at any time, without waiting for a special campaign.
What is the BISP Dynamic Survey?
The Dynamic Survey replaced the older door-to-door NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry) survey method. Under this system:
- Households visit a BISP Tehsil Office to request registration.
- BISP staff survey your household to collect socio-economic data.
- The data produces a PMT (Poverty Means Test) score.
- If your score is below the poverty threshold, you qualify for Benazir Kafaalat.
The survey checks your household’s assets, income sources, housing condition, and family composition to determine need.
How to register for BISP Dynamic Survey
Follow these steps to register:
- Find your nearest BISP Tehsil Office. Every district has at least one office.
- Visit in person with your original CNIC. Bring CNICs of adult family members too.
- Request registration at the help desk.
- Provide household information honestly during the survey.
- Receive confirmation of your registration.
- Check your status after a few weeks by SMS to 8171.
There is no online form for the Dynamic Survey. You must visit the office in person.

Important: No online registration
Be aware of scam websites:
- There is no official online registration for the BISP Dynamic Survey.
- Websites claiming to register you online are not official.
- BISP has not launched an online Dynamic Survey form.
- Only the in-person process at Tehsil Offices is genuine.
If someone asks for money to register you online, it is a scam. BISP registration is always free.
When can you register?
The Dynamic Survey is continuous. Unlike older campaigns with fixed dates:
- Registration is open throughout the year.
- There is no “last date” for the 2026 survey.
- You can visit a Tehsil Office anytime.
- Updates to existing records are also accepted continuously.
This allows families who missed earlier surveys or whose circumstances changed to join or update their records.
What documents to bring
When visiting the BISP Tehsil Office:
| Document | Why needed |
|---|---|
| Original CNIC | Your identity and household head verification |
| Family members’ CNICs | To register all adults in the household |
| B-Forms for children | To include children in the record |
| Utility bills (optional) | Address verification if asked |
The core requirement is your valid, biometrically verified CNIC.
What happens during the survey
At the Tehsil Office:
- Staff verify your CNIC through biometric fingerprint.
- They ask questions about your household: number of members, ages, income sources, house type, assets.
- All answers are entered into the BISP system.
- The system calculates your PMT score.
- You receive a registration slip or tracking number.
Answer honestly. False information can disqualify you later when BISP cross-checks with NADRA and other databases.
PMT score and eligibility
Your eligibility depends on your PMT (Poverty Means Test) score:
- A lower score means higher poverty and higher chance of eligibility.
- The threshold varies but is reported around 32-34 in many areas.
- If your score is below the threshold, you qualify for Benazir Kafaalat.
- If your score is above the threshold, you are not eligible but can request re-survey if circumstances change.
The exact threshold is set by BISP and may vary.
Payment amount after approval
If eligible through the Dynamic Survey:
| Payment type | Amount |
|---|---|
| Benazir Kafaalat (quarterly) | Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500 |
| Special cycles (Ramzan, emergency) | May be higher |
Reports suggest the quarterly payment increased from Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500 in 2026, but confirm the current amount at your Tehsil Office or the official portal.
