There is no single, permanent PSER last date. PSER ran in stages, and the dates changed. This guide gives the status as of September 2026, the full timeline since 2024, and how to check before you act, so you do not rely on an old PSER registration last date you saw somewhere else.
This matters because many blogs post a fixed “last date” that is already out of date. Acting on a wrong date can waste your time, or make you think you have missed your chance when you have not. The honest answer is simpler: confirm the current position with the official source.
PSER last date: the status in September 2026
Here is what official sources and credible news show, as of September 2026:
- No new deadline has been announced. We found no registration window or last date announced for 2026.
- The official website shows no registration button. pser.punjab.gov.pk now shows information about the registry and says PSER is built through a door-to-door survey by trained teams. Its “Last Date: January 31, 2025” notice is old, and its old page for finding a nearby registration centre now shows “Page not found”.
- The budget speech called the survey complete. In the Punjab budget speech on 17 June 2026, the Finance Minister said PSER had been fully completed during 2025-26, with data on more than 110 million people.
- PSER is becoming an authority. The same speech said the government was turning PSER into an authority, with Rs 2 billion set aside for its expansion in 2026-27.
- Coverage is large. On 21 August 2026, the Chief Minister said 26 million households had been registered.
- A PSPA official gave a different picture in September. Writing in The Nation on 13 September 2026, PSPA’s vice chairperson, Jahan Ara M Wattoo, said PSER stood at a 92 percent completion rate. So official statements differ on whether the survey is fully finished.

The PSER timeline so far
These are the key dates, each taken from an official release or credible news:

Why there is no single PSER last date
PSER is a very large survey that covers the whole province. To reach millions of households, the government did not use one cut-off that lasts forever. It used stages, and more than one method at the same time:
- Online registration on the official portal, from July 2024
- Registration centres, set up at union council and municipal offices
- A door-to-door survey by trained teams, from April 2025
Because of this staged approach, different dates applied to different stages, and linked schemes such as the Ramzan package set their own cut-offs. A date that was a “last date” for one stage was never the last date forever.
What the old “January 31, 2025” date means
If you open the official PSER website today, you will still see a button that says “Last Date: January 31, 2025”. It is easy to panic over this, but it is an old notice that appears to date from the first registration drive. After it, PSER registration for the 2025 Ramzan package was given a deadline of 15 February 2025, and the much bigger door-to-door survey started in April 2025.
So do not read it as “you have missed everything”, and do not read it as a deadline for 2026 either. It simply has not been removed.
If your household was missed or your details changed
Being missed by the survey does not have to be permanent. PSPA describes PSER as a dynamic database that keeps socio-economic data up to date, and the government has budgeted to expand it. Because official statements in 2026 differ on whether the door-to-door survey is fully finished, it is worth asking whether survey teams are still working in your area. Here is what you can do now:
- Call the PSER helpline 0800-02345. Ask whether your household is on record, and how to add it or update it.
- Check your record if you registered online before, by logging in at portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk with your CNIC and password. Our login guide helps if you forgot your password.
- Keep documents ready: CNICs of all adults, B-Forms for children, and an active mobile number, so you can act quickly if a survey team or new window reaches you.
- Keep your CNIC valid and your details correct with NADRA, because PSER data is checked against NADRA records.
If a death, a disability, a lost job or a new baby has changed your household, tell the helpline. Programmes that use PSER, such as the Rehmat Card and Apni Chhat Apna Ghar, rely on your record being current.
How to find the current registration status
Instead of trusting a date from a blog, go to the source:
- Visit the official website at pser.punjab.gov.pk and look for any new notice.
- Call the government helpline at 0800-02345 to ask about the current position.
- Ask at your union council office, where registration centres were set up in 2024.

How to avoid fake “last date” posts
Fake or outdated deadlines are common in this topic. Protect yourself:
- Do not panic over a date on a random blog or video. Confirm it with the helpline or the official website.
- Never pay anyone who says they can “extend your deadline” or “register you after the last date”. Registration is free.
- Never share an OTP with anyone who calls about PSER.
