A PSER registration check by CNIC lets you confirm that your household is on record and see where your application stands. This guide shows you how to check your status online, and what to do if you get stuck.

After you finish PSER online registration, it is normal to want to confirm it went through. The main way to check is to log in to the official portal and open your application.

How to check your PSER status online

You check your status by logging in to the official login portal.

  1. Go to the login portal at portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Enter your CNIC as the username.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Open your application to see the current status.

Your CNIC is how the system finds your record, which is why people call this a “check by CNIC.” You do not get your status by CNIC alone; you log in with your CNIC and password together, for your privacy.

What your status means

Inside the portal, your application will show a status. A submitted or recorded status means your household data is saved in the registry. It does not, by itself, mean you have been approved for a payment. Approval for any specific program is decided separately, using a score the government calculates and does not share publicly.

Checking the 8070 package

You may have heard about checking a package through the 8070 SMS code. The 8070 short code is a government SMS service used for the Chief Minister’s relief packages in Punjab. To use it, you send your CNIC to 8070 as described in the official announcement for that package.

This is separate from your PSER portal status. PSER is the registry; the SMS services are for specific packages that check against it. For your PSER record itself, the portal login above is the reliable way to check.

If you cannot log in

If your password is not working, use the Forgot Password link on the login page. The portal sends a reset link to your registered email. Read our portal login and password guide for a full walkthrough.

If the portal will not open at all, it may be busy. Try again early in the morning or late at night, when fewer people are online.

Get official help

If online checking is not working for you, call the government helpline at 0800-02345, or visit a nearby registration center, including an E-Khidmat Markaz. Staff there can help you check your record. Keep your CNIC with you.

Remember, GoPunjab cannot check your status for you. We have no access to any government system. We only explain how to do it yourself.
