Himmat Card registration lets persons with disabilities in Punjab apply for the government’s Himmat Card and its quarterly stipend. This guide explains who is eligible, what documents you need, and how to register on the official DPMIS portal, step by step.

The Himmat Card is a Punjab government welfare scheme for certified persons with disabilities. It is managed by the Social Welfare Department through the DPMIS portal, and registration is free.

Who is eligible

The Himmat Card is for persons with disabilities who are:

  • Certified as a person with a disability by Social Welfare Punjab, and
  • Assessed as not fit to work

People who are employed, or who already receive support such as BISP, Zakat, or PSPA, are generally not eligible. Criteria can change, so confirm the current rules on the DPMIS portal.

Documents you need

Keep clear copies ready before you start:

  • CNIC (or B-Form for minors)
  • A disability certificate from an authorised medical board
  • Proof of residence
  • Recent photographs
  • A mobile number registered on your CNIC

How to register on DPMIS, step by step

Step 1: Open the DPMIS portal

Go to the official portal dpmis.punjab.gov.pk and open the registration page. This is the official system, so avoid copycat websites.

Step 2: Enter your CNIC and details

Enter your 13-digit CNIC without dashes, your disability type, your district, and your medical board information. Set a password for your account.

Step 3: Add contact details and certificate

Enter your active mobile number and home address, and upload your disability certificate if the portal asks for it.

Step 4: Submit and check status

Submit your application. Later, you can check its status on the DPMIS verification page by entering your CNIC.

The stipend

As of 2026, eligible Himmat Card holders receive Rs 10,500 every three months. Payment amounts can change over time, so treat any figure as “as of” its date and confirm the current amount on the official portal.
