A few things to know before you call:

  • PSER gave 0800-02345 as its helpline in January 2025. The PSER website no longer prints a number, and the Punjab Portal now lists 0800-02345 as the Chief Minister Complaint Center. It is the same line, so tell the agent your question is about PSER. Our PSER guides explain the survey.
  • Sehat Card: 0800-07542 is Punjab’s number. Numbers from sehatsahulat.com.pk belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, not Punjab. See our Sehat Card guide.
  • Ration Card: the Punjab Portal lists 1105. PESSI’s own website shows its general number, 0800-73774.
  • Kisan Card balance: the Bank of Punjab holds your loan, so balance questions go to the bank. Our Kisan Card check guide has the details.

We did not find an official helpline for the CM Laptop Scheme or Phase 2 of the e-bike scheme in September 2026. Use the contact form on their official portals, and see our laptop scheme guide and e-bike guide.

The Pakistan Citizen’s Portal has no phone line. It works through its app, and it is the best place for a written complaint about any department. Our guides on the e-Khidmat Markaz, Maryam Ki Dastak and MTMIS vehicle verification explain those services step by step.

For electricity bills in Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana, LESCO lists its call centre at 118 and SMS 8118; see our LESCO bill check guide.

How to call toll-free 0800 numbers

Numbers that start with 0800 are toll-free. On 10 February 2026, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority said calls to these numbers are now free for all mobile users. Landline calls to them were already free.

  • Dial the full number with the zero, for example 0800-02345. Leave out the dash.
  • Short codes such as 1122, 15, 1043 or 1312 are dialled as they are, without an area code.
  • Numbers starting 042 are normal Lahore numbers, so standard call charges apply.
  • Keep your CNIC and any tracking ID ready before you call. Most helplines ask for them first.
  • Note the time and the agent’s name if you are given a complaint number, so you can follow up.

If your balance is cut for an 0800 call, complain to your mobile network first, then to PTA.

Fake helpline numbers and scams

Scammers copy scheme names and post their own numbers. Stay safe with these rules:

  • Do not trust numbers in WhatsApp groups, comments or copycat Facebook pages. Check the number on the program’s .gov.pk website or on the Punjab Portal helplines page.
  • Never share an OTP, ATM PIN or card number. No government helpline needs them.
  • Real helplines never ask for a fee to register you, release a payment or “unlock” a card.
  • Calls from ordinary mobile numbers claiming to be BISP, PSER or a minister are a warning sign. Hang up and call the official number yourself.
  • “You have won” messages asking you to send money first are always fraud.

If someone asks for money, report it on the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal. To see which schemes you may qualify for, read our Punjab government schemes list or try the free eligibility checker.

GoPunjab is an independent website. We do not run any helpline and cannot answer calls for any program. Numbers can change, so always confirm on the official portal before you call.
