GoPunjab is an independent information website. We explain Punjab and federal government welfare programs in simple English and Urdu, so families can understand how to register and what to expect.

What we do

We write clear, step-by-step guides about programs like the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). We also built a free eligibility checker that helps you see which programs you might qualify for, in about 60 seconds, without saving any of your answers.

Our verification promise

Every fact on this site is checked against official government sources. When a detail can change, like a deadline, we say so and point you to the official portal for the current status. We would rather leave something out than publish a number we are not sure about. A wrong deadline can send a family on a wasted trip, and we take that seriously.

Who writes for GoPunjab

Our guides are written by Ufaq Asif, a researcher and writer covering Punjab and federal welfare programs. You can read more on the author page.

Not the government "Go Punjab" app

GoPunjab.pk is not the Punjab government's "Go Punjab" (GoPb) mobile app, and it is not a government service of any kind. The names are similar, but we are a separate, independent website. We only explain programs and send you to their official portals and helplines.

How our guides are made

Each guide starts from official sources: the program's own portal, its notifications and advertisements, and government press releases. Where a detail rests only on a news report, the guide says so. We use AI tools to help us research these sources, draft guides, translate them into Urdu and make our short videos. The facts come from the official sources, not from the tools, and anything we cannot confirm is left out. When a program changes, we correct the guide and change its "Last updated" date. Our editorial standards explain the process.

How GoPunjab is funded

GoPunjab is free to use. It is paid for by ads shown through Google AdSense. No government department, program, bank or company pays us to write about it, and advertisers have no say in what our guides say. An ad on our pages is not a recommendation.

Punjab Jobs

Our Punjab Jobs pages explain official government job advertisements in simple words. We are not a recruiter or an agent. We do not take applications, charge fees or forward CVs. You apply only through the official process named in each ad.

What we are not

  • We are not a government website and have no link to any government agency.
  • We cannot register you, check your application, or fix payments.
  • We never ask for your CNIC, phone number, or personal data.
