A LESCO bill check online takes less than a minute on the official web bill page, bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill. It is run by the Power Information Technology Company (PITC), which runs the official web bill portal for 11 power distribution companies, and LESCO’s own website links to it. You only need the reference number from an old bill. Checking is free, and you do not need to register or log in.
LESCO stands for Lahore Electric Supply Company. Its website says it serves Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Nankana and Kasur. If your bill comes from another company, such as MEPCO, FESCO, GEPCO or IESCO, this guide does not apply to you.
LESCO bill check online in 3 steps
- Open the official page, bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill. Its heading reads LESCO Web Bill, Powered by PITC.
- Keep Reference No selected and type your 14 digit reference number with no spaces. In the small box next to it, choose U or R to match your bill.
- Press Search. Your latest bill opens, and you can print it or save it as a PDF.
That is all. The page does not ask for your CNIC, phone number or any payment.

The two official LESCO bill pages
As of October 2026, there are two official ways to reach your bill online. Both are free.
| Page | How to reach it | What it asks for |
|---|---|---|
| PITC web bill | bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill | One box for the 14 digit reference number, plus U or R. Or switch to Customer ID |
| LESCO Customer Bill | lesco.gov.pk, then Customer Bill in the menu | The same number split into three boxes: Batch No., Sub Division and Reference No., plus U or R. Or Customer ID |
The LESCO page has two buttons: View/Download Bill and Download Bill. The PITC page lists all 11 distribution companies on its home page, so make sure you pick LESCO and not a neighbouring company.
If one page is slow or down, try the other. They show the same bill.
Your reference number explained
The reference number is the key to your bill. It is printed on every LESCO bill next to the word Reference. It has 14 digits. The sample bill on the PITC site shows it in three groups: a 2 digit batch number, a 5 digit sub division code, and 7 more digits, for example 01 14111 followed by your own seven digits.
Some reference numbers are followed by a letter, U or R. Pick the same letter in the small box on the page. The page selects U by default, so change it only if your bill shows R.
You can also search by Customer ID. Both official pages have a Customer ID option. Use whichever number you have.
Lost every old bill? Ask a family member for a photo of a recent bill, or visit a LESCO Customer Services Centre for help. The same number is also used for some government schemes, for example the CM Punjab Solar Scheme asked for it.
How to download or print a duplicate bill
When your bill opens on the PITC page, use your browser’s print option. On a phone, tap the menu, then Print or Share, then Save as PDF. PITC says the page gives you a duplicate bill “for payment at any branch”.
If you cannot print at home:
- Save the bill as a PDF and print it at any shop.
- Or visit your nearest LESCO Customer Services Centre. LESCO’s FAQ says duplicate bills are available there. The central centre is at LESCO Head Quarter, 22-A Queens Road, Lahore. LESCO lists other centres on its Customer Services Centers page.
LESCO’s FAQ also says that if you often do not receive your bill on time, you should contact your subdivision office.
How to pay your LESCO bill
LESCO’s own bill page says: “All branches of all commercial banks within the jurisdictions of LESCO are authorized to collect Electricity Bills.”
The NEPRA Consumer Service Manual (November 2025), which LESCO publishes on its website, adds that bills can also be paid:
- at post offices in your city or district
- at NADRA kiosks
- online, or by ATM card or credit card, where this is available
Keep the paid bill or the transaction message. If the payment does not show on your next bill as arrears, LESCO’s FAQ says you can get it corrected by showing the bank receipt at your subdivision, a Customer Services Centre or the bank branch.
Due date and late payment surcharge
Your bill shows a due date. Under the NEPRA Consumer Service Manual:
- The due date is within 15 days of the bill being issued, and you should get at least 7 clear days after the bill reaches you.
- If the due date falls on a holiday, it moves to the next working day.
- If you pay after the due date, a late payment surcharge is added. The bill shows the amount payable after the due date.
- If the due date is extended for you, no late payment surcharge is charged.
To ask for an extension, LESCO tells you to visit your nearest Customer Services Centre or contact the SE, XEN or SDO of your area. Rules and amounts can change, so read the payment instructions printed on your bill.
LESCO complaints and helpline
LESCO’s complaints page lists these channels for bill and supply complaints:
- Call 118, the Customer Care Call Centre
- SMS 8118
- Email ccms@pitc.com.pk
- CCMS web portal at ccms.pitc.com.pk
- Power Smart mobile app, for Android and iOS
For a wrong meter reading on your bill, LESCO’s FAQ says to contact the Customer Services Centre of your area or LESCO Head Quarter. For other helpline numbers in the province, see our Punjab helpline numbers guide. If a complaint is ignored, you can also escalate it through the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal.
Beware of fake bill apps and websites
Checking a LESCO bill is free. Watch for these:
- Unofficial bill websites and apps that copy the LESCO name. They are not run by LESCO. The official pages are bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill and lesco.gov.pk.
- SMS or WhatsApp messages saying your connection will be cut today unless you pay through a link. Check your bill yourself on the official page instead.
- Anyone asking for your OTP, bank PIN or card number. LESCO never needs them to show you a bill.
- Agents who offer to “reduce” a bill for a fee. Bill corrections are made only through LESCO itself.
Paying other government dues too? See our guides to token tax in Punjab and property tax in Punjab.
GoPunjab is an independent website. We are not LESCO or PITC, we cannot see anyone’s bill, and we do not collect payments. Always check and pay through the official channels.
