PSER login is how you get back into your account after you have registered. This guide explains the difference between register and login, how to sign in, how to reset your password, and what to do when the portal will not open.

Many people mix up “register” and “login.” Getting this clear will save you time.

Register vs login: the difference

  • Register is a one-time step. You create your account and enter your household details. You do this on the official registration portal, pser.punjab.gov.pk. See our registration guide for the full steps.
  • Login is how you return to your account afterwards. You sign in at the login portal, portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk, to check your status or continue.

In short: you register once, then you log in whenever you need to.

How to log in, step by step

  1. Go to the login portal at portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Enter your CNIC as the username.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Click sign in.

For your privacy, you need both your CNIC and your password. Your CNIC alone will not log you in.

How to reset a forgotten password

If your password is not working:

  1. On the login page, click Forgot Password.
  2. The portal sends a reset link to the email you used when you registered.
  3. Open the link and set a new password.
  4. Return to the login page and sign in with your CNIC and new password.

If you no longer have access to that email, the reset link will not reach you. In that case, visit a registration center or E-Khidmat Markaz and ask the staff for help.

When the portal will not open

The portal can get very busy, especially when a new phase opens. If it is slow or will not load, try these steps:

  • Try off-peak hours. Early morning or late at night usually has fewer users.
  • Check your internet and refresh the page.
  • Wait and retry if the site is under heavy traffic.
  • Use a center instead. Registration centers can help when the website is down.

Still stuck?

Call the government helpline at 0800-02345, or visit a nearby registration center with your CNIC. Once you are signed in, you can do a registration check by CNIC to see your status.

GoPunjab cannot reset your password or log in for you. We have no access to the portal. We only explain the steps so you can do it yourself.
