PSER online registration is how families in Punjab enter the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry, the government survey that decides which households are considered for welfare programs. This guide walks you through every step in plain language, so you can register correctly the first time.

PSER stands for the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry. The government describes it as a “prosperity survey” that runs across the province to find underprivileged households and connect them with government facilities. Registering does not guarantee any payment. It puts your household on record so the government can check whether you qualify for different schemes.

Why you should register for PSER

PSER is the gateway registry for many programs. Instead of applying separately to each scheme, your household data is checked against this one registry. Programs that use PSER data include:

  • The solar panel scheme
  • The Himmat Card (for persons with disabilities)
  • The Kisan Card (for farmers)
  • The Rehmat Card
  • Ramzan and Nigehban support packages
  • Benefits linked to BISP

For most of these programs, only one eligible person per household can apply. So getting your household registered correctly is the important first step. If you are not registered, the government has no record to check, and you may be left out of programs you could qualify for.

The three ways to register

You can complete the PSER survey in three ways. All of them are free.

  1. Online, through the official portal at the website below.
  2. A registration center. The government has set up thousands of centers across Punjab, including E-Khidmat Markaz locations. The official portal lists 5,000 centers.
  3. A door-to-door survey. Government teams visit homes during survey drives to register households in person.

If you are comfortable using a phone or computer, online registration is usually the fastest. If you find forms difficult, a registration center has staff who can help you.

Documents you need before you start

Keep these ready so you can finish in one sitting:

  • Valid CNICs of all adult family members
  • B-Forms for children under 18
  • An active mobile number that can receive messages
  • An email address (to create your account)

How to do PSER online registration, step by step

These are the official steps for registering on the portal.

Step 1: Open the official portal

Go to the official website, pser.punjab.gov.pk. This is the only official place to register online. Be careful of copycat websites that look similar.

Step 2: Create your account

On the registration screen, enter:

  • Your full name
  • Your CNIC number
  • Your mobile network
  • Your mobile number
  • Your email address

Then create a password and type it twice to confirm it. Click Register to create your account.

Step 3: Log in and start a new application

Log in using your CNIC and the password you just made. Click New Application. The portal will show a truthful-declaration notice, which says that the information you provide is correct. Read it and accept it to continue.

Step 4: Enter the head of family details

Enter the head of the family’s name and CNIC. Then provide their gender and date of birth. The head of the family is the main person the household is registered under.

Step 5: Complete the household details

Continue through the household questions. This part asks about the people in your home and their health status, including whether anyone has a disability or a chronic disease. Answer honestly, because this information is used to check eligibility for specific programs later.

Step 6: Submit your application

Review your answers to make sure everything is correct, then submit the form. Once submitted, your household is on record in the registry.

What happens after you submit

After you submit, your information is saved in the registry. The government has partnered with NADRA to validate and enrich PSER data, manage it centrally with privacy protections, and expand access through more registration centers and the door-to-door survey.

Eligibility for any specific program is decided later. The government uses a score, calculated internally, to decide who qualifies. This score is not shown to the public. So submitting your application is not the same as being approved for a payment. It is the step that makes you eligible to be considered.

You can log back in at any time to check your registration status. If you are not sure whether you meet the requirements for income-based programs, read the eligibility criteria first.

A quick word on deadlines

Registration runs in phases, not on one fixed permanent date. A major registration window closed on 31 December 2025, and door-to-door survey drives continued into 2026. Because the dates change, never trust a single “last date” you see on a random blog. Check the official portal for the current status, or read our last date and phases guide for how the phase system works.

Need help during registration

For official help, you can call the government helpline at 0800-02345. GoPunjab cannot register you, check your application, or fix payments. We only explain how the process works so you can do it yourself or get help at an official center.
