Rahim Yar Khan police jobs 2026 are open: Punjab Police has advertised 1,170 posts of Constable, Lady Constable and Driver Constable (BPS-7) for Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur districts. The ad (IPL-10492) was issued by the DIG (Establishment II), Central Police Office, Lahore. Forms are received at the district Police Lines from 12 October to 31 October 2026, with a form fee of Rs 300.
The ad is only for candidates with the domicile of these two districts. Rahim Yar Khan has 718 Constable posts. Rajanpur has 300 posts for the district including its tribal areas, and 150 more for Tehsil Rojhan. There is also one Driver Constable post in each district. Who can apply
There are three groups of candidates for Constable and Lady Constable posts. Age is counted on 31 October 2026 for everyone.
Constable: settled area of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur
- Age: 18 to 22 years
- Height: men at least 5 feet 7 inches; women at least 5 feet 2 inches
- Chest (men only): 33 inches, expanding to 34.5 inches
- Domicile: domicile of the concerned district and a CNIC
- Education: Matric (Secondary School Certificate) from a recognized board with 50% marks
- Race: men 1.6 km in 7 minutes; women 1.6 km in 10 minutes
Constable: Rajanpur tribal (de-excluded) area
- Age: 18 to 25 years
- Height: men at least 5 feet 5 inches; women at least 5 feet 2 inches
- Chest (men only): 31 inches, expanding to 32.5 inches
- Domicile: domicile of the Rajanpur tribal area
- Education: at least Matric from a recognized board
Constable: Tehsil Rojhan, District Rajanpur
- Age: 18 to 30 years
- Height: men at least 5 feet 5 inches; women at least 5 feet 1 inch
- Chest (men only): 31 inches, expanding to 32.5 inches
- Domicile: domicile of Tehsil Rojhan, District Rajanpur
- Education: Matric from a recognized board with 33% marks
The race (1.6 km in 7 minutes for men, 10 minutes for women) is printed for all three groups.
Driver Constable
- Age: 21 to 30 years (both settled and tribal areas)
- Height: settled area men 5 feet 7 inches; tribal area men 5 feet 5 inches; women 5 feet 2 inches
- Chest (men only): settled area 33 to 34.5 inches; tribal area 31 to 32.5 inches
- Education: Matric from a recognized board
- Licence: an LTV driving licence
- Experience: two years of driving after getting the LTV licence. You will also take a driving test, a mechanical test and a highway code test.

Ex-army candidates
10% of Constable and Driver Constable posts are for ex-army personnel. Height, chest, education and domicile rules are the same as for civilian candidates. Your current age, minus your army service, must be 22 years or less. Your current age must not be more than 40, and you must not have retired more than 2 years ago. Anyone discharged or retired from the army for disciplinary reasons cannot apply.
Pay scale and job type
Constables, Lady Constables and Driver Constables are recruited in BPS-7 with the usual allowances. The ad does not print a rupee salary. These are regular Punjab Police posts in the district where you hold domicile.

- Women: 15% of Constable posts

- Ex-army: 10% of Constable and Driver Constable posts
How to apply for Rahim Yar Khan police jobs 2026
- Check your group above and make sure you meet the age, height, chest, education and domicile rules on 31 October 2026.
- Get the form. The ad says you can download the application form from the Punjab Police website, punjabpolice.gov.pk. You can also ask at the District Police Office or Police Lines.
- Fill in the form and write which post you are applying for. If you apply for more than one post, you must choose one before the interview and give an affidavit about it.
- Attach attested photocopies of all required documents.
- Pay the Rs 300 form fee and submit the form at the Police Lines of your district (Rahim Yar Khan or Rajanpur) between 12 October and 31 October 2026.
- Government employees must send the form through their department with an NOC. Otherwise the application is rejected.

- An affidavit that no FIR or case is registered against you

Application fee
The form fee is Rs 300, submitted with the form at the district Police Lines. The ad does not mention any other charge. Candidates are not paid any expenses for the different stages of selection.
Selection process
- Only candidates whose applications are complete will be called for physical measurement.
- Physical measurement is held at the district Police Lines.
- The steps are: height and chest measurement, race, driving test (Driver Constable only), written test and interview.
- Candidates must give an affidavit about any FIR or case. A false affidavit or any criminal record found at any stage means disqualification and legal action.
- If any document, such as a degree, domicile, CNIC, driving licence or medical certificate, is found fake at any stage, the recruitment is cancelled and legal action follows.
- The department can change or cancel the ad, in part or in full.
