The PPSC test schedule 2026 is published in one place only: the official Punjab Public Service Commission website, ppsc.gop.pk. PPSC itself says its website is the sole authoritative source for schedules, notices and results, and that candidates are responsible for checking it. This guide shows where each schedule sits, how to print your admission letter, and what PPSC says about exam day.
How to check the PPSC test schedule 2026 in 3 steps
- Open ppsc.gop.pk, go to Schedule in the menu and choose Exams. This opens the Examination Schedules page.
- Find your case number in the table. Each row shows the date, post, department, case number and time.
- When your test appears, click Print Admission Letter, enter your CNIC, choose your post and print the letter.
Also read the News and Highlights box on the home page. PPSC often announces test days there in a public notice before the admission letters are uploaded.

When PPSC announces a test
PPSC’s Important Instructions (English version, 16-01-2026) describe this timeline:
- A tentative test schedule goes on the website at least 7 days before the test.
- SMS and email with the date, time and venue go out together to candidates, preferably 5 days before, with instructions to download the roll number slip. This is also shown on the website.
- A reminder SMS and email, plus a flash message on the website, comes 3 days before.
PPSC says it does not inform any candidate individually. If you get nothing by website, SMS or email, confirm your status at least 3 days before the test through the UAN 042-111-988-722 or the PPSC office numbers 99202761-62.
Admission letter and roll number slip
PPSC uses the term admission letter for what most people call the roll number slip. PPSC’s instructions say admission letters are uploaded collectively on the website, and no one is issued a letter individually.
To print yours, open the admission letter page, enter your CNIC (13 digits, no dashes) and select your post, then press Proceed. You do not need to log in. PPSC’s FAQ says the link works once your exam is scheduled, so your post appears in the list only then. PPSC advises printing on legal size paper, and says the letter may be more than two pages.
Psychological assessment is different. PPSC’s FAQ says it does not upload an admission letter for psychological assessment. Follow the instructions sent by text message. Your roll number stays the same. For CCE-2025, PPSC’s schedule says the slip for the group activity and interview is given only to candidates present at the written psychological assessment, and anyone who misses a phase cannot appear in the final interview.
What clubbed cases mean
PPSC does not publish a separate definition of a clubbed case. In its notices, several posts, each with its own case number, are listed together under one Clubbed ID and tested in the same session. For example, the notice of 21-09-2026 listed four Junior Clerk posts from different Board of Revenue offices under Clubbed ID-194 on 03-10-2026.
So if you applied for one post in a group, look for your own case number inside the Clubbed ID. That tells you your test day and session.
Exam day rules PPSC publishes
Bring your original valid CNIC. It is mandatory. If your CNIC has expired or is lost, PPSC may let you sit the test provisionally if you show one of these originals:
- a CNIC that expired not more than six months before the test date
- a valid passport
- a computerized domicile certificate with your picture
You then sign an undertaking to show your valid CNIC at the interview, or your candidature is cancelled.
Leave these at home: mobile phones, electronic gadgets, books, purses, and arms or ammunition. PPSC warns that a candidate found with a mobile phone or electronic device in the test, used or not, may face an FIR.
On the MCQ answer sheet, PPSC’s instructions say to use a black marker (blue if black is not available), write the paper code and fill its bubble, and fill answer bubbles completely. Cutting, erasing and correction pens are not allowed. If the paper code is missing or wrong, the sheet is not marked. PPSC’s FAQ says 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong MCQ answer.
Change of centre: PPSC’s policy of 19-01-2026 allows requests only on genuine grounds with documents, such as illness or a clash with another major exam. Requests must reach PPSC at least 7 days before the test.
The syllabus
PPSC uploaded Syllabus for Various Posts on 07-09-2026. Open the Syllabus page and find your post. PPSC’s FAQ says it does not provide sample papers or past papers. For the CCE expected in 2027, PPSC’s press release of 24-09-2026 says detailed syllabi will be uploaded by the end of October 2026.
Avoid fake schedules and agents
PPSC has published a notice titled “Beware of Fraudulent Websites and Social Media Pages”. Copied schedules on other sites can be old or wrong.
- Check dates only on ppsc.gop.pk.
- Never pay anyone for a roll number slip. Printing it is free on the PPSC website.
- PPSC says its system does not allow favours. Refuse anyone offering to help you get selected. PPSC lists Mr. Ahmad Ali Kamboh, Member, PPSC (member12@ppsc.gop.pk, 042-99202301) for reporting such people.
If someone demands money for a job, you can also report it on the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal.
