The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar ballot result tells you whether your CNIC won a free 3-marla plot in the first phase of Punjab’s free plot scheme. This guide shows you how to check it, what the result means, and what to do next, whether you won or not.

How to check the Apni Zameen Apna Ghar ballot result in 3 steps

  1. Open the official Ballot Result page on azag.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number without dashes, then type the captcha letters shown in the small picture.
  3. Tap Submit and read the message on your screen.

You do not need a login or a password for this page, and checking is free. (Some people search for it as the “AZAG ballot result” or the “apni zameen apna ghar qurandazi result”. It is the same page.)

What the Ballot Result page asks for

As of September 2026, the page has just two boxes:

Below the Submit button, the portal shows this note: “The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Program balloting has been successfully conducted. Eligible applicants may view their result online by entering their CNIC number.”

Use the CNIC of the person whose name is on the application, not a family member’s.

What your result means

We did not type a real CNIC into the page, so we cannot quote its exact wording. There are three possible outcomes, each covered below:

  • You won. Your CNIC was one of the 2,000 picked in the ballot.
  • You were not picked. Your CNIC was in the draw but was not chosen. This is not a rejection.
  • No result shows. The CNIC may have been typed wrongly, or the application may not have been declared eligible for the ballot.

Read the message slowly, and take a screenshot so you have a record.

The Ballot Result page on azag.punjab.gov.pk asks only for your CNIC and a captcha. No login is needed.

How the ballot happened, step by step

The ballot was not a single event. The portal and news reports describe these stages:

February 2026A second computerised ballot gave each winner a block and plot number.
June 2026Allotment letters were being handed over, for example to 7 families in Bahawalpur.

News reports describe both ballots as covering all 19 districts together. We found no separate ballot dates for each district.

If you won a plot

Congratulations. Here is what comes next.

1. Keep a record. Take a screenshot of your result, and keep your original CNIC safe.

2. Wait for your allotment letter. After the plot-number ballot in February 2026, the Punjab Housing Minister said the Chief Minister would formally distribute allotment letters. In June 2026, the Deputy Commissioner of Bahawalpur handed letters to that district’s winners. If you won and have heard nothing, contact your district PHATA office, using the portal’s list of district focal persons (PDF).

3. Ask about possession. Your building deadline starts from the day you get possession. We found no official possession schedule, so ask your district office when yours is due.

4. Know the rules before you build. The portal’s allotment terms say:

  • Start building within six months of possession, following the building by-laws, and finish within two years.
  • Do not sell, transfer or lease the plot for at least five years from allotment. A transfer in that time cancels the allotment automatically.
  • Use the plot only for a home.

5. Plan the money to build. The government has said winners can apply for an interest-free loan under Apni Chhat Apna Ghar to build their house. That loan has its own rules, including registration in PSER with a PMT score of 60 or below. Reported loan terms have varied, so confirm them on acag.punjab.gov.pk, and start early because the six-month clock runs from possession.

If you were not picked

Most eligible applicants were not picked. There were only 2,000 plots for 18,308 eligible applicants, so about 1 in 9 won. Chances also depended on your district, since you could only apply in your own district. In Bahawalpur, for example, APP reported 21,400 applications from the district, while the portal’s quota table lists 7 plots there.

What you can do now:

  • Don’t pay anyone who promises to “move you up” or find you a plot. The draw is computerised and finished.
  • Waiting list: we found no official statement about a waiting list, or about what happens to a plot if an allotment is cancelled. Ask the helpline, and never pay for a “place” on any list.
  • Next phase: the portal says the program will run in phases. As of September 2026, registration is closed and we found no official announcement of a second phase. Keep your CNIC valid and check azag.punjab.gov.pk now and then.
  • Register in PSER. Many Punjab programs use it. Our PSER registration guide explains how.

If no result shows

  • Check the CNIC. Type all 13 digits with no dashes or spaces, and use the applicant’s own CNIC.
  • Get a new captcha. If the captcha was wrong, tap Refresh CAPTCHA and type the new letters carefully.
  • Try again later if the page does not load or shows an error.
  • Were you declared eligible? The portal says eligible applicants can view their result. Before the ballot, applicants had to submit documents (CNICs, domicile, affidavits and a police character certificate) by 30 October 2025, and the notice said missing that deadline could affect eligibility.
  • Appeal if you were rejected. The portal FAQ says you can appeal through the official grievance redressal process.
  • Still stuck? Call the helpline 0800-09100, or use the portal’s complaint box.

Checking is free: avoid fraud

  • The Ballot Result page is free and public. You need no agent and no login.
  • Nobody can change a ballot result or get you a plot for money. The draw was computerised.
  • Only trust the result you see yourself on azag.punjab.gov.pk. If a caller says you won and asks for a fee, hang up.
  • Never share an OTP or a password, even with someone claiming to be from PHATA.
  • Do not buy an Apni Zameen Apna Ghar plot or allotment letter. A transfer within five years cancels the allotment automatically.

Report anyone who asks for money through the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal or the portal’s complaint box.
