Special Education Department jobs 2026 are open again: the Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab has extended the last date to 1 November 2026 for 17 Trainer posts (Digital Literacy, Social Media, E-Commerce and YouTube) under the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Khud Mukhtar (E-Earn Training) Programme. The pay is Rs 220,000 a month, and you must apply online on the Punjab Jobs Portal.
The first advertisement (IPL-10187) was published on 26 September 2026. A corrigendum (IPL-10674), signed by the Director (Admn), Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab, Lahore, then made two changes: it extended the last date to 1 November 2026, and it said that applications will only be taken through the job portal, not by post. All other terms of the first ad stay the same. The portal posted this job on 9 October 2026. We checked every figure on this page against the corrigendum image and the live portal job page on 10 October 2026.

These trainers will teach practical online earning skills: using e-commerce platforms, running social media pages, creating content and managing a YouTube channel. Please note this is a separate programme from the PSPA asset scheme with a similar name. It is run by the Special Education Department, and it is a job ad, not a training sign-up.
Who can apply
The corrigendum prints the full criteria for the post. Here is what it says.
Qualification. A BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Commerce, or any related discipline, from an HEC-recognized university. The portal page describes this as Masters or Bachelors (Hons) of 16 years, with at least a second division (45% and above).
Experience. At least 4 years of professional experience in one or more of these areas:
- e-commerce operations (Daraz, Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and similar)
- digital marketing and social media management
- digital content creation
- freelancing and online business management
- graphic design and video editing
The ad adds that candidates may also have experience running online stores, digital sales and online product promotion, social media advertising (Facebook and Instagram ads), YouTube channel management, content monetization and digital media marketing. These are useful extras, not separate conditions.
Age. 22 to 40 years. The corrigendum does not print any age relaxation, and it does not say on which date your age is counted.
Gender and domicile. The portal page lists gender as “Both”, so men and women can apply. The corrigendum says nothing about domicile. If you are not sure about a district condition, ask the department before you apply.
Pay scale and job type
This is not a BPS post. The ad prints a lump sum salary of Rs 220,000 per month. The portal page shows the salary range as “0 to 220,000” and the level as “Lump sum”, but the printed ad gives one fixed figure, so we follow Rs 220,000.
The portal lists the job as full time. The corrigendum does not say whether the post is on contract, for how long, or whether it can become permanent. Because the posts are created under a named programme, treat them as programme jobs and read the terms in your offer letter carefully.

Documents you need
The corrigendum does not print a list of documents, and it says all other terms of the first ad remain unchanged. Before you start, keep clear scans of these ready for your portal profile:
- your CNIC (if it has expired, see our NADRA CNIC online guide)
- your BS degree and transcript
- experience letters or contracts that prove 4 years of relevant work
- a recent photograph
A short portfolio also helps for this kind of job: links to online stores you have run, social media pages you managed, or YouTube channels and videos you created. Keep these ready in case you are called for an interview.
Application fee
The corrigendum does not mention any application fee. Applying on the Punjab Jobs Portal is free.
Selection process
The corrigendum does not describe the selection process. It does not mention a written test, an interview, or a merit formula, and no test date has been announced.
Shortlisting on portal jobs is normally based on the details in your profile, so make sure your degree, marks and experience dates are correct. Watch your email and phone for any call from the Directorate General of Special Education.

- Job page: Trainers (Digital Literacy, Social Media, E-Commerce & YouTube)
- Department website: sed.punjab.gov.pk
- Issued by: Director (Admn), Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab, Lahore
The corrigendum does not print a phone number or email for queries. The department’s own Jobs page said “Currently there are no job vacancies” when we checked on 10 October 2026, so rely on the portal for this ad.
Beware of fake job offers
No agent, officer or website can get you one of these Trainer jobs for money. The ad prints no fee, so anyone who asks you to pay is cheating you. The Special Education Department’s website also warns that it does not endorse job ads posted under the title “Special Education Department (PAKISTAN)” and that such ads misuse its logo. Apply only on jobs.punjab.gov.pk and never share your portal password. If someone asks you for money, report it through the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal.
