The ad calls these “purely contract” posts for a “time bounded project”. PULSE has a Project Management Unit (PMU) at the Board of Revenue in Lahore and a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) at PLRA in Lahore. The ad prints the second post as “Communication Association”. The portal page for the same post calls it Communication Associate, with 2 positions, so that is the correct title.
Who can apply
The printed ad does not list qualifications. It says: “Detailed eligibility / selection criteria, experience and job description is available on the online job portal”. Here is what the six portal pages say, in plain words:
- Finance Management Specialist (PMU): CA, FCA, FCMA or ACMA, or 16 years of education in Finance, Commerce or similar from an HEC-recognised institution. At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting, a good grasp of public sector budgeting and the treasury system, and experience with financial management software. World Bank financial management experience is preferred. The portal shows this post as Financial Management Specialist.
- Communication Associate (PMU, 2 seats): 16 years of education in Business Administration, Project Management, Communication, Journalism or Public Relations. At least 2 years of experience in an organisation’s internal or external communications.
- Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (PMU): 16 years of education in Social Sciences or Agricultural Sciences. At least 5 years of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of projects, preferably donor-funded ones.
- Procurement Associate (PMU and PLRA, 1 seat each): 16 years of education in Project Management, Business or Public Administration, Commerce, Business Economics or similar (the PMU page also lists MBA, MPA and M.Com). Knowledge of Pakistan and Punjab procurement rules, and at least 2 years of public or private sector procurement experience. World Bank procurement experience is preferred.
- Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (PLRA): 16 years of education in Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Social Sciences. At least 5 years of M&E experience, preferably with donor-funded projects.
Age: the ad prints no age limit. The portal shows 25 to 70 years for the Communication and Procurement Associates, 30 to 70 for both M&E posts, and 35 to 70 for the Finance Management Specialist. Both men and women can apply.
Quotas: the ad says these quotas will be observed on the contract posts: 3% for disabled persons, 5% for minorities, 15% for women, and 20% for children of serving or retired government servants in BS-1 to 5 from the department.
Government employees: public sector employees may apply with the permission of their department head.

Pay scale and job type
The ad does not give a pay scale or salary, and the portal pages show no salary either. The ad says the jobs are purely contract for the time-bound PULSE project; it does not give a contract length. It also says no TA/DA (travel or daily allowance) will be paid for the test or interview. The number of posts may go up or down according to the sanctioned strength, without notice.
How to apply for Board of Revenue Punjab jobs 2026
The ad is clear: apply through the online portal only. Email applications and hard copies will not be entertained.
- Open the official portal at jobs.punjab.gov.pk.
- Register and log in. Click Register, enter your email and a password, and open the activation link the portal emails you. Log in with your email, password and the captcha code.
- Complete your profile. Fill in your personal details, 16-year degree (or professional qualification), and every job with dates in the Profile Builder. The ad warns that an incomplete application will not be shortlisted.
- Find the right post. Search the jobs list for the post title. The four PMU posts show Board of Revenue as the department and Project Management Unit - BOR as the project. The two PLRA posts show the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) and Project Implementation Unit - PLRA. There are two Procurement Associate pages, one for each unit, so pick the one you want.
- Check the details. Read the qualification, experience and age range on the page, and confirm the last date is 20-09-2026.
- Apply. Click Apply for this Job, fill in the short form and submit. You can apply for each job only once, and you cannot edit it later.
- Keep the confirmation. The portal shows a message and also sends an email and a text message.
