Who can apply

- Age: 21 to 30 years; the printed relaxation lets men apply up to 35 and women up to 38.
- Domicile: all Punjab basis, so any district of Punjab.
- Gender: all three genders may apply, with a transgender applicant’s age and sex taken from the CNIC.
The LLB preference
The advertisement gives preference to candidates with an LLB and two years’ experience or specialization in environmental laws. Candidates with this preferred qualification are shortlisted first for the written test or interview and final selection. Only if no eligible LLB candidate is available will the others with the prescribed degrees be considered, at a later stage.
If you apply as an LLB holder, you must bring two things to the interview. The first is an original experience certificate from the President of the District Bar Association, with exact dates and details of your environmental law work, countersigned and stamped by the District and Sessions Judge or Additional District and Sessions Judge. The second is your enrolment certificate as an Advocate from the Punjab Bar Council.
Non-LLB experience and age relaxation
Note 03 of the ad covers other experience: work in the public or private sector is admissible only after the prescribed degree, and a private employer counts only if it is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another regulatory authority. On age, PPSC’s Important Instructions give specially abled candidates up to 15 more years.
Pay scale and job type
The post sits in BS-17 with a contract of 3 years. The ad is silent on the monthly salary, so a rupee figure you see online is not from PPSC.

- CNIC still valid on the last day of applying online
- Matric or O Level, and Intermediate or A Level, certificates
- the BSc or BS (Hons.) degree, plus detailed marks certificates if the degree shows only CGPA
- a QEDC equivalence certificate if your degree is “equivalent”
- domicile issued by the closing date
- Departmental Permission Certificate for government servants
- disability certificate from the Social Welfare Department’s council, if you claim that status

Application fee
The fee shown on the PPSC jobs page is Rs 600. Pay it only against the 17-digit PSID from your own form, choosing GoPb as the biller, through JazzCash, Easypaisa, UPaisa, internet or mobile banking, or a 1Link bank’s ATM or counter. It is not refundable, and specially abled candidates are exempt. Payment problems can be raised at ppsc.gop.pk/cmsnew.
Selection process
The ad sets a two-stage route for this post:
- LLB holders first. Candidates with the preferred LLB and environmental law experience are shortlisted first for the written test or interview and final selection.
- Others later. Candidates with the other prescribed degrees are considered at a later stage, and only if no eligible LLB candidate is available.
The syllabus, the ad says, will be uploaded on the PPSC website later; it was not on the Syllabus page on 15 September 2026. If PPSC holds an MCQ test, its usual rules apply: 0.25 marks off for each wrong answer and 40% to pass. The interview pass mark is 50%, and for a single post PPSC normally calls about 5 candidates.
