The ad (IPL # 9478) was posted on the Punjab Jobs Portal on 10 September 2026; the ad itself does not print a date. - Deputy Project Director, Heritage and Urban Development (PPS-10): Bachelor’s or Master’s in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or Architecture, with 8 to 10 years of experience for a Master’s or 15 years for a Bachelor’s.
- Chief Development Officer (PPS-10), tourism PMU: Master’s in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or Project Management from an HEC recognized university, registration with PCATP or PEC, and at least 20 years in planning and development projects, including 10 years in a senior leadership role.
PPS-09 and PPS-08 posts
- Senior Conservation Architecture (PPS-09): MSc or Bachelor’s of Architecture, 5 to 7 years. The post name is printed this way in the ad.
- Finance Manager (PPS-09): CA, ACCA or MBA Finance, 3 to 5 years.
- Product Development Expert (PPS-09): Bachelor’s or Master’s in Product Design, Product Development, Industrial Design or Business Administration, 3 to 5 years.

- Graphic Designer: Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, 3 to 5 years.
- Master Craftsman: technical diploma, skilled certification, “DAK” or literate (as printed), with 5 years of experience. The portal lists “Literate” as the minimum education, so this is the only post that does not need a degree or diploma.
- Quantity Surveyor: DAE in Quantity Surveying or Civil, 5 years.
- Research Analyst: a Bachelor’s degree with at least 16 years of education in a relevant discipline, and 1 year of experience. The ad prints “US Degree” and “NEC recognized university”, which look like typing errors for BS and HEC.
Pay scale and job type
The posts use the Project Pay Scale, from PPS-07 to PPS-11. The ad says the salary for each post is a lump sum that includes all allowances, with a 4% annual increment. It does not print the rupee amount for any PPS level, and the portal pages for these posts do not show a salary either.
The appointments are temporary, non-transferable and non-pensionable, tied to the specific project post, and give no right to regularization. The portal lists the employment status as “Contract”. The Directorate can reduce the number of posts or cancel the recruitment without giving reasons.
