- At least four (04) years of post-qualification professional and technical experience, with an increasing level of responsibility, in environmental analysis
- Demonstrated experience in developing IEEs, ESIAs and EMMPs required under public sector environmental regulations (these are initial environmental examinations, environmental and social impact assessments, and environmental management and monitoring plans)
- Experience of preparing a Social Assessment Report (SAR), Social Management Plans (SMPs) and Resettlement & Rehabilitation Action Plans (RAPs), as required in compliance with the ESF (environmental and social framework)
A working knowledge of local government systems, their regulatory framework and donor-funded projects will be an added advantage, but it is not required.
Age
The maximum age is 45 years. The ad says age is measured from your date of birth up to the last date for receiving applications, which is 27 September 2026. The Board of Directors (BOD) may relax the maximum age for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates. The portal listing shows an age range of 18 to 45.
Other conditions
The portal listing is open to both men and women. The ad does not mention any domicile condition, and the portal listing does not add one. It also does not mention a quota for this post.
Pay scale and job type
The ad lists the post as PPS-07 and says the compensation is market-driven, in line with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. It does not print a salary figure, and the portal listing does not show one either. So any salary number you see on a job blog is not from PMDFC.
The portal lists the employment status as contract. The ad itself does not say how long the contract will run. The ad also says the competent authority can increase, decrease or reject the post without giving any reason.
