PPSC Auqaf jobs 2026 are open: the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has advertised 33 contract posts for the Punjab Auqaf Organization, and the last date to apply online is 21 September 2026. Twenty of the seats are medical and paramedical jobs at Data Darbar Hospital, Lahore, including 6 Staff Nurses, 4 Medical Officers and 4 Laboratory Technicians. The other 13 are engineering and architecture posts, open to men only.

Who can apply

Every post is on an all Punjab basis, so you need a Punjab domicile. The medical and paramedical posts are open to men, women and transgender persons; for transgender candidates, age and sex are taken from the CNIC. The engineering and architecture posts are male only. The age limits below already include the relaxation printed in the ad (5 years for men, 8 for women).

Doctors at Data Darbar Hospital

  • Medical Specialist (1 seat): MBBS plus FCPS (Medicine), MCPS, MD or an equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by PMDC. Age 26 to 45, up to 50 for men and 53 for women.
  • Anaesthetist (1 seat): MBBS plus FCPS (Anaesthesia) or an equivalent. If no such candidate is available, a Diploma in Anaesthesia with 2 years’ practical experience. Age 26 to 45, up to 50 or 53.
  • Medical Officer (4 seats): MBBS registered with PMDC, plus a one-year regular house job after MBBS. Age 22 to 35, up to 40 or 43.
  • Dental Surgeon (1 seat): BDS registered with PMDC. Age 21 to 35, up to 40 or 43.

All four need a valid permanent PMDC/PMC registration certificate issued on or before the closing date.

Nurses and technicians at Data Darbar Hospital

  • Staff Nurse (6 seats): Matric, registered A-Grade Nurse and registered Midwife. Age 20 to 35, up to 40 or 43. If you applied to the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) for registration by the closing date but your card has not come, you are provisionally eligible with stamped proof from PNC.
  • Laboratory Technician (4 seats): Matric with Science and a certificate or diploma in Lab Technology from the Medical Faculty or the National Institute of Health, Islamabad. Age 18 to 25, up to 30 or 33.
  • Dental Technician cum Assistant (2 seats): Matric with Science and a two-year Diploma of Dental Technology from the Punjab Medical Faculty. Age 18 to 25, up to 30 or 33.
  • ECG Technician (1 seat): Matric with Science, an ECG Technology certificate or diploma, and at least 3 years’ practical experience after it (private hospitals only if registered with a regulator such as the Punjab Healthcare Commission). Age 18 to 30, up to 35 or 38.

Engineering and architecture posts (men only)

  • Executive Engineer / Deputy Director Projects (Civil) (2 seats): MSc Engineering with at least 7 years’ experience, or BSc Engineering with at least 10 years, and registration as a “Professional Engineer” with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Age 26 to 38, up to 43.
  • Assistant Engineer / SDO, Civil (3 seats) and Mechanical (1 seat): BSc Engineering in the discipline, at least 5 years’ experience and PEC registration. Age 21 to 35, up to 40.
  • Assistant Director (Architecture) (1 seat): five-year Bachelor of Architecture from an HEC-recognized university and registration with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners. Age 21 to 35, up to 40. Posting in Lahore.
  • Sub Engineer / Sound Operator / A.C. Operator, Civil (4), Mechanical (1) and Electrical (1): three-year DAE in the discipline from a recognized Board of Technical Education. Age 18 to 25, up to 30.

Experience counts only after the required degree, and private-firm experience counts only if the firm is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another regulator. Engineers can be posted anywhere in Punjab.

Pay scale and job type

These posts have no BPS grade. Each has a fixed lump-sum pay package per month, printed in the ad and shown in the table above: Rs 170,000 for Medical Specialist, Anaesthetist and Executive Engineer; Rs 150,000 for Medical Officer and Dental Surgeon; Rs 140,000 for Assistant Engineer and Assistant Director (Architecture); Rs 90,000 for Staff Nurse; Rs 80,000 for Sub Engineers; and Rs 45,000 for the technicians.

All posts are on contract for two years. The ad says nothing about extension or allowances, so do not rely on claims about them.

How to apply for PPSC Auqaf jobs 2026

PPSC takes applications online only. These steps follow its official step-by-step procedure:

  1. Open the PPSC jobs page. The “Apply Online” button on the PPSC home page opens the same list.
  2. Under Advertisement No. 09/2026, click your post. Auqaf posts show “Punjab Auqaf Organization” as the department; for example, Medical Officer is Case No. 12M2026 and Staff Nurse is 18M2026.
  3. Read the post details and click Proceed. Read the Important Instructions and the E-Pay User Manual, tick the undertaking and click Apply Online.
  4. Enter your CNIC number, then your email address and mobile number, and verify them. Use your own, because PPSC does not let you change them later.
  5. Fill in your date of birth, gender, employment type, disability status and personal information, and save.
  6. The system gives you a PSID (Payment System Identifier). Pay the Rs 600 fee against it, as explained below.
  7. Upload a recent colour photograph on a white background and the front of your CNIC, as small JPG files. Check PPSC’s photograph requirements first.
  8. Add your qualifications, and your service record if you have one.
  9. Read the undertaking and click Submit Application. You get an Application Number, plus an email and SMS with a token number for editing or printing.

Each post needs its own application and fee. You can edit until the closing date, and entering your CNIC again resumes an unfinished form. Documents you need

PPSC’s eligibility and scrutiny guidance for these posts asks for originals of:

  • Valid CNIC
  • Matric and Intermediate certificates, plus your degree or diploma with detailed marks certificates (PPSC does not accept CGPA alone)
  • Your professional registration: PMDC/PMC for doctors and dentists, PNC for nurses, PEC for engineers, and the architects’ council for the architect post
  • House job certificate (Medical Officer) and experience certificates where the post needs experience
  • Punjab domicile certificate issued on or before the closing date
  • Departmental Permission Certificate if you are a government employee
  • Disability certificate from the Social Welfare Department’s council, if you claim that status

Application fee

The PPSC jobs page shows a fee of Rs 600 for each Auqaf post. The fee is per post, so two posts means paying twice. Pay with your 17-digit PSID under the GoPb biller in bill payments, at a 1Link member bank ATM or branch counter, through internet or mobile banking, or with JazzCash, Easypaisa or UPaisa.

PPSC does not accept the old challan form 32-A, bank drafts, pay orders or cheques. The fee is non-refundable. Specially abled persons do not have to pay it. For payment problems, use PPSC’s complaint system at ppsc.gop.pk/cmsnew.

Selection process

  • Most posts have a one-paper multiple-choice test of 100 marks and 90 minutes, with all questions from your own qualification: MBBS for Medical Officer and Medical Specialist, General Nursing and Midwifery for Staff Nurse, BSc Civil or Mechanical Engineering for the engineers, and DAE (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) for the Sub Engineers.
  • For the Laboratory, Dental and ECG Technician posts, the ad says the syllabus will be uploaded on the PPSC website later. It was not there on 15 September 2026. No syllabus is printed for Anaesthetist.
  • PPSC cuts 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, and the pass mark is 40%. The top candidates, normally 5 per post, are called for interview, where the pass mark is 50%.
  • Your documents are checked in detail at the interview, and an ineligible candidate is rejected even then.

PPSC has uploaded a job description for each post. For example, a Staff Nurse handles total patient care, vital signs, IV lines and safe medication.

Beware of fake job offers

  • No agent, official or hospital staff member can get you selected. PPSC’s instructions ask candidates to refuse anyone who offers help with selection and to report them to the Commission.
  • PPSC has warned about fake websites that copy its name, such as ppsc.com.pk and ppsc-jobs.com. Use only ppsc.gop.pk.
  • Pay only the Rs 600 fee, and only through your own PSID.
  • Report fraud through the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal.
