The Department of Aquaculture & Fisheries has advertised a Fisheries Supervisor, 2 Drivers, a Beldar or Fisherman cum Beldar, 2 Chowkidars and 2 Sweepers. The last date is Tuesday, 6 October 2026, for both the online form and the hard copy.
The posts belong to a development project called “Establishment of Hatchery Facilities for Pangasius and Other High Value Fish Species”. Six seats are based in Lahore and two in Dera Ghazi Khan. Four of the five post types ask only that you are literate, so this ad is worth reading even if you did not finish school. We checked this page against the official advertisement (IPL-9698) and the five live portal pages on 20 September 2026.

Here is what each post needs, exactly as the ad prints it:
- Fisheries Supervisor (PPS-2), 1 seat, Dera Ghazi Khan: F.Sc in Pre-Medical from a recognised board, in minimum second division. Age 18 to 25 years. The portal describes the work as hatchery operations and field work, and records the required division as 45 percent and above.

- Beldar or Fisherman cum Beldar (PPS-2), 1 seat, Lahore: literate, with experience in the relevant field. Age 18 to 25 years. The portal lists the duties as hatchery implementation and field work.
- Chowkidar (PPS-2), 2 seats, Lahore: literate. Age 21 to 35 years.
- Sweeper (PPS-2), 2 seats, one in Lahore and one in Dera Ghazi Khan: literate. Age 21 to 35 years.
Age relaxation: the ad gives a general relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years for men and 8 years for women, counted on the date of the advertisement, under Government of Punjab S&GAD Notification No. SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08.08.2016. So a man can apply for the Chowkidar post up to 40 years, and a woman up to 43 years.
In-service candidates must have obtained or applied for an NOC or DPC from their own department, and must produce it at the time of the interview if they are called.
Both men and women can apply for every post in this advertisement.
Pay scale and job type
The advertisement prints an initial lump sum monthly salary against each post:
- Fisheries Supervisor: Rs 45,000
- Driver: Rs 45,000
- Beldar or Fisherman cum Beldar: Rs 40,000

- Sweeper: Rs 40,000
The recruitment is purely on a contract basis under the project pay scale for one year, extendable up to the gestation period of the project on the basis of performance. An annual increment is applied as per the approved criteria. The ad is clear that selected candidates will have no claim to a permanent appointment against these posts, and that the competent authority may cancel the recruitment at any time without prior notice.

Part 2: deliver the hard copy

Beware of fake job offers
No agent, officer or website can get you a job in the Fisheries Department for money. The advertisement prints no fee at all, so anyone who asks you to pay for a Chowkidar, Sweeper or Driver seat is cheating you.
