The ad does not mention any age relaxation. If you are close to the upper age limit, call the SP&IU office on the number in the ad before you apply, so you don’t waste an application.
What the job involves
The portal’s job description lists these skills and duties:
- IT troubleshooting: diagnosing and fixing hardware, software and network problems
- Running and maintaining portals, and keeping systems up for users
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel for documents, reports and data
- Technical support for data entry, dashboards and the organisation’s digital platforms
- Keeping the IT setup working and training staff on basic IT tools and software
This is a hands-on systems and support role. When you fill in your portal profile, describe your past work in these terms, so the person shortlisting can see that your 3 years match what the listing asks for.
Pay scale and job type
The printed ad says the positions are on a contract basis till June 2027. It does not print any pay. The Punjab Jobs Portal listing shows the level as PPS-07 and a monthly salary of Rs 255,000 to 260,000, with the employment status shown as full time.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.
- The department may increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirements.
- If you are a government employee, your application must come through proper channel with an NOC.
How to apply for Environment Protection Force IT Specialist jobs 2026
- Open the official Punjab Jobs Portal. If you are new, click Register, enter an email address you can open, set a password, and open the activation link the portal emails you.
- Log in and complete the Profile Builder. Enter your personal details, CNIC and domicile district. Add your degree with its exact title, so the portal can see it is in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or Software Engineering. Add each IT job with start and end dates.
- Open the official IT Specialist listing for the Environment Protection Force project.
- Read the listing again and check your degree, years of experience and age against it.

Selection process
