PERA System Support Officer jobs 2026 are still listed as open on the Punjab Jobs Portal. The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring System Support Officers (SPPP-5) on a 3-year contract for its enforcement stations in all districts and tehsils of Punjab. The portal shows 368 positions and a last date of 30 September 2026.
There is one thing you must know first. The printed ad, uploaded in January 2026, gave 30 June 2026 as the last date. That date has passed, but the official portal now shows 30 September 2026 and still accepts applications. We explain this below. We checked the ad and the live portal pages on 15 September 2026.

PERA was set up under the Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Act, 2024. The ad says its aim is to streamline regulation across Punjab and enforce special laws.
Last date: what the ad says and what the portal shows
- The printed ad says: “Last Date for submission of application is 30th June 2026”. It also says interviews may start after 5 February 2026.
- The portal job page for this post shows “Last Date to Apply: 30-09-2026” and “Total Positions: 368”. On 15 September 2026 its Apply for this Job button was active, and the post was in the portal’s live jobs list with the date 30-Sep-2026.
- The ad also says hiring of System Support Officers “is a continuous process”. Data of people who apply is kept as a data bank to fill vacant posts at any stage.
- PERA’s own website does not list this post on its careers page, and we found no notice from PERA about a new last date.
What this means for you: the ad says you must apply through the portal, and the portal is still taking applications until 30 September 2026. So the portal date is the one that decides whether you can apply. But no new ad has confirmed it, so apply early. Open the portal page again before you apply, in case the date changes or the post is removed.
Who can apply
The ad says details of qualification and experience are on the PERA website, but the website does not show them. The portal job page for this post gives these requirements:
- Education: 16 years of education, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related subject. The portal lists degree areas such as Computer Science, Computer Networks, IT, Telecommunication and Software Engineering, at 16 or 18 years of education.
- Division: the portal listing shows “Required Division: First (60 % and above)”.
- Experience: 2 years of IT interventions, implementation, networking or software development in a reputable organisation. Private sector experience is accepted only if the company is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another public sector regulatory authority.
- Skills: good written and spoken communication, understanding of finance and admin work, analytical and presentation skills, MS Office, and noting and drafting.
- Domicile: the ad says preference will be given to applicants with the domicile of the district concerned. The portal lists every Punjab district under “Domicile Only”, so keep your Punjab domicile ready. If you do not have one, see our Punjab domicile online guide.
- Gender: the portal says both men and women can apply.
- Age: no age limit is printed in the ad or on the portal.
- Government employees: must apply through proper channel and meet the minimum criteria in PERA’s regulations.
What a System Support Officer does
According to the portal, a System Support Officer assists the SDEO at a PERA enforcement station. The job mixes IT support and office work:
- fixing computers, printers, scanners and network problems, and installing software
- keeping records of hardware, software, contracts and warranties
- preparing the duty roster and drafting official letters and notes
- keeping financial records, processing vendor bills and handling petty cash
- dealing with landlords, vendors, internet and electricity providers, and couriers
Pay scale and job type
The ad gives the pay scale as SPPP-5. The portal says the post gets SPPP-5 plus any other benefit allowed for SPPP-5 under Schedule-III, and it shows the monthly salary as up to Rs 170,000.
The job is on contract for 3 years, extendable if your performance is satisfactory. Hiring is under the PERA (Appointment and Conditions of Service for Contractual Employees) (Amended) Regulations, 2025. The portal says the Director General makes appointments on the recommendation of PERA’s Contractual Employment Committee.

- Open the official portal. Go to jobs.punjab.gov.pk. The ad says applications are made online through this portal.
- Register and log in. Click Register, enter your email and a password, and open the activation link the portal emails you. Then log in with your email, password and the captcha code.
- Complete your profile. Fill in your personal details, domicile, education and experience in the Profile Builder.
- Upload your documents. The ad says to attach copies of all educational, experience and other relevant documents. An incomplete application will be rejected.
- Open the PERA job page. Go to the System Support Officer page. Check that it says Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority and still shows the last date 30-09-2026.
- Apply. Click Apply for this Job, fill in the short form and submit. You can apply only once, and you cannot edit the application later.
- Keep proof. Save the confirmation message and email.
