The ad says the PMUs and PIUs will work as a core internal cell that monitors construction progress, supports decisions, keeps project documents in order and sorts out technical and contract issues. The job descriptions on the portal say the work is about electric bus depots, bus terminals, bus shelters and EV charging infrastructure.
Who can apply
Each post has its own qualification, experience and upper age limit. The ad does not mention domicile, gender or any age relaxation. The portal pages list “Both” under gender. All degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities, and diplomas from recognized institutes.
Project Implementation Unit (90 seats)
- Assistant Manager (Civil), 30 posts: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related field, plus at least 5 years in construction supervision, infrastructure development, project planning, design and execution. Age limit 40.
- Assistant Manager (Electrical), 9 posts: Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred), plus 5 years in electrical systems, power distribution, substations, installations or EV charging. Age limit 40.
- Assistant Manager (Health & Safety), 3 posts: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Occupational Health & Safety, plus 5 years of health, safety and environment work on infrastructure or construction projects. NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA certificates are preferred. Age limit 40.
- Sub Engineer, 30 posts: DAE in Civil, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years supervising civil or electrical works, site inspections and measurements. Age limit 45.
- Quantity Surveyor, 9 posts: DAE in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field (a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering is preferred), plus 5 years in quantity surveying, cost estimates, BOQs and measurement. Age limit 45.
- Associate (Admin), 9 posts: Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education), plus 7 years of office management in a public sector organization. Age limit 45.
Project Management Unit (15 seats)
- Project Director: Master’s degree (preferably Civil Engineering, Engineering Management or Project Management) and at least 15 years of experience, including 10 years managing large infrastructure projects. Age limit 50.
- Chief Engineer: Bachelor’s in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred) and 15 years of experience, including 8 years on infrastructure or transport projects such as depots and buildings. Age limit 50.
- Managers (Procurement & Contracts, Admin & Finance, Engineering, Internal Audit): a relevant Master’s, Bachelor’s, MBA, M.Com, ACCA or ACMA, and 8 to 10 years of experience. Age limit 50.
- Deputy Manager (Legal): LLB (LLM preferred) and 8 years of legal experience. Age limit 50.
- Assistant Managers (Procurement & Contract, Finance, Internal Audit, IT): a relevant degree and 4 to 5 years of experience. Age limit 40.
- Associate (Admin): 14 years of education and 7 years in a public sector organization. Age limit 45.
- Office Associate: 14 years of education and 5 years of office management. Age limit 30.
Pay scale and job type
These are not BPS posts. The ad prints one fixed gross salary per post, in rupees per month, “inclusive of all benefits and applicable taxes”. So benefits and tax are already counted inside this figure.

The ad says the units are set up “for the period of 12 months”, and the portal lists every post as a contract job. The ad does not promise permanent employment.

- Find your PTC post. Open the jobs list and search “Punjab Transport Company”. Each post has its own page, for example Assistant Manager (Civil) and Sub Engineer. Check that the page shows Punjab Transport Company and the last date 30-09-2026.
